Episode Two - A Day of Thanksgiving
In this special Thanksgiving episode, get into the holiday spirit with an old film that's actually pretty good for a change! It's a true story about a family in Lawrence, Kansas who couldn't afford a true Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings and how each and every one of them had to come to terms with a holiday without the traditional turkey. It's even acted out by the actual family that this happened to, so for once let's excuse the subpar acting, okay? :)
Episode One - American Women: Partners in Research
Come along with us as we take a tour of the research and development facilities at the Corningware Factory! There you'll meet our charming rocket-obsessed tour guide, Chet Huntley, who will introduce us to the wonderful world of coffee percolators and the women who are forced to test them. It's a great slice of 1950's fluff, complete with freudian imagery and enough chauvinism to make a feminist explode.
